A picture is worth a thousand words.

September 9, 2009

Hi guys,

This is my first blog post. I want to tell everyone a bit about myself before i blog about specific things.

I am  23 years old, and i live in Sydney.

I grew up in the country in a small town Gloucester. It was a town of amazing rivers, sensational landscape and great people. Although minds were very narrow . Thats the reason i moved to the big smoke.

I originally moved for University to study Communications, Public Relations. Unfortunetly i am still studying it, however am in my last year. Don’t get me wrong PR is great, as i currently work in it. However its not my passion, my desire and my reason to get out of bed in the morning. What is it you might say…… Well the answer to that is a ‘picture is worth a thousand words.’ PR is all about words, art is all about pictures.

Myself and pictures work well together, myself and words not so good!

My real passion is painting. I have recently started painting abstract canvas’s. I have a little studio in Bronte, however the fresh outdoor country air is where i find my most inspiration. Mainly the town i grew up in.  There is nothing better than listening to the birds chirping, smelling the fresh smell of air and watching the stillness of the rolling hills.

I am hopeful one day to open my own art gallery, and let the emotions that i felt painting, touch the people viewing them. Want i want for my life is to be remembered as an amazing inspirational human being. As a women that always followed her dreams, someone that honoured other peoples feelings, and was in the best position in life to make herslef happy.

I will be inspirational to the world through my art. Painting abstract painting gives me the connection that nothin else has ever given me. I can close my eyes and the colours swirl vigerously around my head unitl the combination is so clear. Once on canvas they will move people, they will create a room full of people to be inspired, to shiver with happiness.

Rememeber the more minutes you spend unhappy the less you spend smiling 🙂
